About the Event

The Firecracker 5K Run/Walk and HEROhustle were great additions to Springfield Township's annual and wildly popular Freedom Celebration! We created the events to honor the memory of long-time Springfield Township resident Pvt. Sterling "Butch" Rahe, who left us too soon in January of 2024 and add fun during post-event festivities. The Firecracker 5K Run/Walk offers participants the opportunity to enjoy the terrain of Community Homecoming Park including the outstanding fitness trail, enjoy the fun, competing for top prizes and see proceeds benefit firefighter mental health and scholarship initiatives. The time frame includes:
Advance Registration Deadline is June 17th at 11:59pm (guarantees shirt)
