Springendalloop

The fourteenth edition of the Springendalloop is just around the corner! On Saturday, November 14, 2026, runners and walkers will gather at Hoeve Springendal to celebrate this beloved community event.
Start & Finish
Both the start and finish lines are located at Hoeve Springendal on Brunninkhuisweg in Hezingen near Ootmarsum. The venue offers a scenic setting that enhances the overall experience for participants of all ages.
For Walkers:
The walking route is approximately 8 kilometers long, with a starting time set for 1:00 PM. This leisurely stroll through picturesque landscapes allows walkers to enjoy the autumn scenery at their own pace.
For Runners:
Three different running distances are available—5 km, 10 km, and 15 km—with staggered start times beginning from 1:30 PM onwards. The race is designed for all levels of runners who wish to challenge themselves or simply enjoy a run in the crisp fall air.
Organizers & Philosophy
The event is organized by Ootmarsumse Lopers Club (OLC’93), which emphasizes enjoyment over competition. There will be no official timing, but participants can use their own watches if they prefer to keep track of their personal times.
Post-Race Celebrations:
After the race, everyone is invited to gather at the large barn near the finish line for a well-deserved treat of free cake and refreshments like coffee or tea. This casual setting ensures that runners and walkers can socialize and celebrate together in good company.
Participants should be aware that photographs may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. Additionally, your email address might be used to inform you about future activities organized by OOTMARSUMSE LOPERS CLUB (OLC’93).
Registration Details:
Online registration is open until November 13, 2026, or until all spots are filled. No on-site registrations will be accepted.
