Spring Cider 5k & 10k

The Spring Cider 5k & 10k is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Cobbler Mountain Cellars in Delaplane, VA. This event offers a unique racing experience that starts at the cidery and extends into the scenic surrounding streets of Fauquier County. Designed as a social and athletic outing, participants are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the cider and mountain views on the property following the race. The event is inclusive of all paces, with walkers explicitly invited to join.

Participation and Logistics

The event is hosted at Cobbler Mountain Cellars on Long Fall Lane. With a 9:45 AM start time, it allows for a mid-morning run followed by afternoon festivities. The course transitions from the cidery grounds onto public roads, so runners should be mindful of local traffic and course markings. For those who cannot attend in person, virtual registration tiers are available, though the "Virtual with Medal and Shirt" option will close on March 31st. Volunteers are also being sought to assist with the race flow and post-race cider service.

Registration and Fees

Online registration is active and will undergo a price increase after March 30, 2026. Late registration is permitted on race day, April 11th, at the final pricing tier. All fees are inclusive of mandatory service charges.
