Split Swimrun 2026.

Split Swimrun 2026 invites teams of two to challenge the stunning coastline from Bačvice to Žnjan on September 19, 2026. This unique race blends swimming and running without traditional transition zones, requiring participants to carry all their gear throughout the course.
The route spans a total distance of 5.6 kilometers, including 1.6 kilometers of swimming and 4 kilometers of running along the coast from Bačvice through Firula and Zenta to Žnjan. Teams will experience three swims, three runs, two entries into the sea, and three exits as they navigate rocky shores, concrete paths, and sandy beaches.
Participants must remain within ten meters of each other throughout the race and cross the finish line together; the team's finishing time is determined by the slower partner. Swims are restricted to a 20-meter band from the coastline, and all gear, including shoes worn during swimming segments, must be carried at all times without any handoffs.
The event features mandatory equipment such as swimwear with attached footwear for both running and swimming sections. Optional items include pull buoys, paddles, goggles, and a watch or GPS device. Teams should arrive by 14:30 to register and attend the briefing starting at 14:45 before the race begins promptly at 15:00.
Estimated completion times range from approximately 45-60 minutes for faster teams to around 70-90 minutes for recreational participants. A post-race celebration with pizza awaits competitors in Žnjan's Central Beach Bar starting at 17:00, offering a well-deserved reward after the challenging course.
