Welcome to the registration page for the Haven Hospice Donation Run taking place on August 29th at LTS Sportanlage within Speckenbütteler Park, Bremerhaven. The event is a heartfelt initiative to support the vital work of Haven Hospice in providing compassionate care for those with terminal illnesses and their loved ones. By participating, you contribute to ensuring that individuals facing end-of-life challenges can maintain dignity and autonomy during this crucial period. This donation run emphasizes community spirit over individual achievement. Participants are encouraged to seek sponsors who will pledge a set amount per lap completed by the runner. Each lap is marked with a band, which runners collect after completing their rounds. The event concludes at 5:30 PM, allowing participants ample time to complete as many laps as they wish. Upon finishing, each runner tallies up their bands and presents them to sponsors who then make donations based on the agreed-upon amount per lap. These contributions are crucial for sustaining Haven Hospice's mission of offering personalized care during difficult times. In addition to the main donation run, there will be special events designed for younger participants: - A children’s race at 2:15 PM covering approximately 400 meters. - The Grand Run around Bootsteich starting at 3:00 PM with a distance of about 2 kilometers. - Another short lap event for kids beginning at 3:30 PM, also roughly 400 meters long. The LTS Sportanlage is nestled within the tranquil Speckenbütteler Park, providing an idyllic setting for this meaningful run.
