Start time 8:30, time limit 1 hour 50 minutes, total distance 16.08km, 871m cumulative elevation gain, with continuous bends and steep sections making up 60% of the course, average gradient 6.8%, maximum gradient 22%. Registration is first-come, first-served until full, with an early-bird rate before August 12. The course links the breathtaking 'Cloud Peak Route' between Xiandu Township and Yanquan Subdistrict - 871m+ of relentless climbing straight to the ancient village of Chenliao - with 60% continuous bends and steep grades and a brutal 22% maximum gradient, as much a test of willpower as of fitness, and a visual feast through layered forests and rolling seas of cloud.
