Bethlehem Cup

On Thanksgiving morning, the Friends of Southborough Recreation Department hosts the Annual Gobble Wobble race, featuring both a competitive 5K road race and a family-friendly 2-mile walk. This community-driven event aims to foster health, unity, and spirit through engaging recreational activities.
The scenic route winds through picturesque Southborough neighborhoods, offering runners and walkers alike an opportunity to enjoy crisp autumn air while supporting local causes. The funds raised from the Gobble Wobble have helped finance several important projects in town, including the replacement of Fayville Playground equipment, upgrading 911 Memorial Field with new turf, enhancing lighting at Choate Field, launching a summer concert series, and improving playgrounds at Finn School.
Participants can register either online or on race day. Pre-registration is recommended as it offers discounts compared to same-day registration costs for the 5K event. Bib pick-up will be available on Wednesday, November 26th from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Trottier Middle School.
Race participants who complete their respective events can look forward to receiving medals in various categories, including overall male and female winners as well as top performers within specific age groups. Age group awards are given for runners aged ten years or younger up through those sixty and older.
This year's event will not permit dogs on the race course due to safety concerns. However, participants with immediate family members living under one roof can inquire about a discount code by contacting the organizers via email.
Join us this Thanksgiving as we come together in Southborough for an invigorating morning of community spirit and fitness.
