South West Rocks Running Festival

The Run Fest South West Rocks takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting and finishing at the Trial Bay Precinct in South West Rocks, New South Wales, Australia. Organized by Run Fest, this coastal running festival features five events including a marathon, half marathon, 10km fun run, 5km family fun run, and 3km family fun run, with all participants receiving a finisher's medal.

Registration and Bib Pickup Information:

• -- Online entries close at midnight on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and may close earlier if maximum field capacity is reached. Age category is determined by age on race day.
• -- Nicknames entered by the end of April 2026 will be printed on race bibs.
• -- Race kit collection (bib, timing chip, and merchandise) takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10am to 5pm at the South West Rocks Country Club. Race packs are not posted out by default, but participants unable to collect on Saturday may opt to have their bib posted during entry.
• -- There is no bib pickup on race day (Sunday, June 7).
• -- Team entries: The winner is based on the highest number of accrued entry points. Team awards are announced at the event presentation.

Race Day Logistics and Participant Services:

• -- Bag Drop: A contact-less secure bag storage area is available at the Trial Bay Precinct. Each participant receives a numbered bag tag matching their race number. The event takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
• -- Start Procedure: The start area opens 10 minutes before each distance. Wave starts ensure a safe beginning for all runners. Participants enter a target race time during registration and receive an individual start time upon crossing the start line.
• -- Timing Chips: Integrated into race bibs. Do not bend the bib, as it may affect timing accuracy. Do not walk over start or finish mats before your event begins or after completion.
• -- Medals: All participants receive a finisher's medal at the finish chute exit. Finisher certificates are available for download online for all events.
• -- Medical Support: St. John Ambulance personnel are available at the first aid tent in the race precinct and at various locations on the course.
• -- Toilets: Available in the Trial Bay event precinct.

Course and Runner Etiquette:

• -- Aid Stations: Four contact-less self-serve stations are positioned approximately every 2km, at 2.8km (near 5km turnaround), 5km (Horseshoe Bay), 7.8km (Tahlee Crescent), and 10.7km (long course turnaround). Water and RunXPerform are provided at each. Participants are asked to empty cups into bins after each station.
• -- Course Conduct: Keep to the left to allow faster competitors to pass on the right. Maintain 1.5m distance where possible. Vacate the finishing area immediately after your event. Pre-arrange a meeting point away from the finish line with family and friends.
• -- Prohibited Items: Prams are not allowed due to narrow course sections. Pets are not permitted in the event or race precinct.
• -- Headphones: Discouraged for safety. If used, keep to one ear only or at very low volume to hear marshals, vehicles, and approaching runners.
• -- Event Photography: Sportive Media is the official photography partner. All photos are available for free after the event on the official event Facebook page.

Refund and Transfer Policy:

• -- No refunds are issued for any reason, including illness or injury. Non-starters and non-finishers are not refunded.
• -- Entry transfers to another runner are permitted until May 31, 2026. Transfers are not accepted after June 1, 2026.
• -- Downgrading to a lower distance is allowed until June 1, 2026. Upgrading is available via the event upgrade form.
• -- Entries cannot be transferred to future events.
