About the Event

The annual Cross Race offers runners of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to test their abilities on challenging courses set within scenic Dutch countryside. The race takes place on October 31, 2026, with registration open until October 30, 2026.
Participants can choose from several categories tailored for different age groups and distances:
- Junior Cross A/B: This event is designed specifically for young athletes competing over a distance of 4.0 kilometers.

- Short Cross Race (Heren en Dames): Both men and women are invited to take part in the Short Cross race, which covers 2.0 kilometers.
- Long Distance Women's Cross: Female competitors will face an 8-kilometer course that challenges their endurance and speed through varied terrain.
- Men’s Long Distance Cross (55+): Male runners aged 55 years or older can join the men's long distance cross event, covering a distance of 6.0 kilometers alongside female participants in their own category starting at the same time.

- Long Distance Men's Cross: The main race for male competitors is an 8-kilometer course that tests runners' stamina and agility.
Registration fees vary based on membership status with KNAU (Koninklijke Nederlandse Atletiek Unie):
- General registration fee: €6.50
- For KNAU members, the cost is reduced to €5.50.

For those participating in the Short Cross race:
- The general fee remains at €3.50
- While for KNAU members it drops to €2.50.
The day's schedule begins with juniors taking on their 4-kilometer challenge starting promptly at noon, followed by a short break before all adult categories begin simultaneously from 12:50 PM onwards. The event promises an exciting atmosphere and competitive spirit among runners of various ages and abilities.
