About the Event

Join Sole Reason, Twin Dragon and Fleet Feet for the inaugural Sneakers for Santa 5K Fun Run/Walk to benefit local at risk Topeka Youth. Since 2016 Sole Reason has given away over 9500 pairs of NEW sneakers to area youth but the need continues to grow. We also have a used footwear program where you can donate used footwear beginning October 1st and all the way until the day of the event. Located at Fleet Feet on Wanamaker. We receive funds based on weight and use that to provide even more sneakers. Also going on the day of the event will be an opportunity to meet and take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus and eat donuts, and drink hot chocolate provided by Poppin Minis. We also will have raffle tickets and giveaways including tickets to see the Pride of Topeka John "The Iron Man" Cantrell's big fight. Whether you are a seasoned runner, just getting started, or want to bring the family out to support a great cause. we would love to have you out there. Don't forget to bring a used pair of shoes ( Oct. 9-dec.12) to Fleet Feet to get yourself a raffle ticket for a great prize. Also collecting used footwear the day of the event for other prizes.

We will have a 5K , a 1 mile option and a family walk.
