Skunk Apes Revenge 60K

Immerse yourself in the wilds of Florida’s Green Swamp for Skunk Ape's Revenge on February 13, 2027, featuring challenging 60k and 30k courses. Start at dawn with a ruck march option for those up to the extra challenge. The race route winds through diverse terrains including pasture lanes, dirt roads, single-track trails, sugar sand hills, and fire berms, offering an unforgettable blend of nature’s sounds and sights.
The course begins on Cumpressco Road, leading you into a loop around Big Foot BSA campsite before venturing onto the scenic Florida Trail. Expect miles filled with lush vegetation, wildlife encounters, and historical sites such as old ranch remnants from the 1940s. Aid stations every 3 to 5 miles stock Bob's Pickle Pops, soda, snacks, and essential gear like band-aids and hygiene products.
For those camping overnight in Green Swamp’s free campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, you’ll enjoy a peaceful setting before the race day adventure. The event also supports local charity Cindy's Pets by collecting pet food donations at the finish line to help needy pets in Pasco County.
Top overall male and female runners will receive awards along with hats for all participants. Merchandise options include shirts, hoodies, long sleeves, and stickers available post-race. Join Skunk Ape’s Revenge not just as a race but as an immersive outdoor experience celebrating the spirit of trail running and community support.
