About the Event

The Skagen Marathon 2026 will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, offering a variety of distances for runners of all levels. Participants can choose from the full marathon, half marathon, Grenen Trail 30 km, 10 km, 5 km, or a children’s 5 km race, making it a perfect event for families and solo runners alike. The half marathon has become the most popular distance, attracting hundreds of participants who enjoy running through Skagen’s scenic streets and natural surroundings. The Grenen Trail offers a unique 30 km challenge along the northern tip of Denmark, combining asphalt, forest paths, and sandy stretches through Damstederne and Skagen Klitplantage, all starting and finishing at the same lively venue as the other races. Children can join the fun on the 5 km route, with prizes for the fastest runners in the 5–9 and 10–14 age categories, while parents can run alongside them. Skagen Marathon 2026 promises stunning coastal landscapes, a festive race atmosphere, and an unforgettable running experience at the very top of Denmark.
