Sip & Stride 5k & 10k

The Sip & Stride 5k & 10k is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Louisa, VA. This late-afternoon race offers a unique opportunity for runners to earn points toward several competitive standings, including the 5k, 10k, and "Back of the Pack" series, as well as the specialized "Sippin’ Series." The event combines a competitive athletic atmosphere with a social focus, making it a staple for regional runners who enjoy series-based racing.

Participation and Logistics

The race is located at 1100 E Jack Jouett Rd in Louisa. With a start time of 3:30 PM, it provides a different experience from typical early-morning races, allowing participants to enjoy the Virginia landscape in the afternoon sun. For those unable to attend the in-person event, virtual options are available, with tiers offering either participation-only or entries that include a finisher's medal and shirt. Please note that the "Virtual with Medal and Shirt" registration closes on April 7th to facilitate shipping. Volunteers are also welcome to assist with course management and series point tracking.

Registration and Fees

Registration is currently in its second tier, with prices set at $44.30 for the 5K and $60.31 for the 10K (all fees included). A final price increase will occur on race day, April 18th. Virtual registration fees range from $12.28 to $33.63 depending on the selected swag package.
