Sine Qua Non Run

Join runners from around the world for an empowering evening under Paris’s starry skies at the Sine Qua Non Run. Held annually to combat sexual and sexist violence against women, this race unites men and women committed to equality through sport. The event features a 10 km flagship distance and a more accessible 5.5 km option, both courses winding through the heart of Paris with Place de la République as their starting point.
The race begins at dusk in the vibrant 11th arrondissement, symbolizing strength against fear and empowering women to reclaim public spaces safely. As you run alongside fellow participants, your efforts contribute directly to funding free sports sessions across France through the RUN, PLAY, FIGHT, RIDE, MOVE FOR EQUALITY program.
Upon crossing the finish line, be greeted by a thunderous applause from cheering crowds shouting “BRAVOOOO!” Celebrate this moment of personal triumph while supporting an important cause. The Sine Qua Non Run not only highlights women's resilience but also advocates for their right to participate in sports freely and confidently.
Paris offers endless opportunities beyond the race course, inviting you to explore iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower or stroll through picturesque parks such as Bois de Boulogne. Indulge in classic French cuisine at a charming bistro before heading back home with memories of an unforgettable evening in Paris.
