Starting at the renowned Silent Pool, your adventure will weave through parts of the North Downs Way and lead you to the serene Netley Heath Forest. Along the way, you'll pass by Shere village, known for its appearances in films like "The Holiday" and "Bridget Jones's Diary." The route features a mix of wide trails perfect for conversation and single-track paths that add an element of excitement.
Ideal for both beginners to trail running and those looking to explore the outdoors with others, this run is led by an experienced ultra runner who will ensure you feel safe and supported throughout. You'll be guided through dusk or night runs during warmer months, offering stunning views and comfortable temperatures. In colder seasons, experience the unique thrill of nighttime trail running under a headtorch.
The pace is relaxed and inclusive; participants should comfortably maintain an average speed of 10 minutes per mile (6 min/km) on trails over extended periods.
