Silent Disco Fun Run

On October 24, 2026, the Bloemendal Trail Park hosts a unique and vibrant Silent Disco Fun Run through its picturesque vineyards. Participants gather at 8:30 am to embark on a 5km journey that blurs the lines between exercise and entertainment. Each runner receives a pair of glowing wireless headphones, creating an immersive audio experience where everyone moves in sync with pre-selected music channels.
The event features five distinct pace groups, ensuring runners can choose their preferred speed from walking leisurely through to jogging comfortably. Leaders equipped with transmitters guide each group throughout the course, making it impossible for anyone to feel left behind or out of step. The serene vineyard setting provides a stunning backdrop as participants navigate winding trails under the watchful eyes of grapevines and rolling hills.
Upon crossing the finish line, runners are greeted by an energetic after-party complete with additional music and dancing. Medals are awarded to all who participate, celebrating their achievement in a fun-filled atmosphere that caters to both fitness enthusiasts and casual walkers alike. The event promises not only physical activity but also social interaction and enjoyment amidst one of Cape Town’s most scenic locations.
