The Shore2Shore trail race is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Suffolk County, Long Island. This point-to-point event takes runners from the North Shore at Sunken Meadow State Park down to the South Shore at Heckscher State Park. Organized by Happily Running in partnership with the Long Island Greenbelt Association, the race offers both 50K and 25K distances. A unique requirement for this event is that all entrants must complete two hours of trail work or volunteer service, or provide a $20 donation to the Greenbelt Trail, prior to April 1st.
