About the Event

Shizuoka Marathon was first held in 2014 and, following a pause, reaches its 10th edition in 2027. The course is flat with little elevation change, which suits everyone from first-time marathoners to runners seeking a new record. It passes through the city and along the coast, offers views of Mt. Fuji in clear weather and draws warm roadside support. This priority entry for Shizuoka City residents is for the 11.6km fun run.
Fees are 16,000 yen for the marathon, 4,000 yen for the fun run, 2,000 yen for the wheelchair division and 2,000 yen for the parent-child run.
