Seward 16th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

On November 28, 2026, the streets of downtown come alive with vibrant light displays and festive cheer for the annual illuminated parade. Participants are encouraged to decorate their floats and costumes with an abundance of lights, creating a dazzling spectacle as they wind through the city's iconic landmarks. The evening culminates in a magical finale where Santa Claus takes center stage, delighting crowds young and old alike. To ensure that children remain captivated by the spirit of the holiday season, organizers request that no participants dress as Santa earlier in the parade to maintain the magic for those still believing in his existence. This unique event promises an unforgettable evening filled with creativity, community spirit, and enchantment.
