Semi-marathon La LOU 2026

Join us for the sixth edition of the semi-marathon La LOU on September 26, 2026. This year’s race promises to be as exciting and heartwarming as ever, with an anticipated field of up to 400 runners.
The route winds through the picturesque villages of Poilley, Villamée, Louvigné-du-Désert, and Landivy, offering a scenic journey across rolling hills and charming landscapes. The race course is designed to challenge participants while providing stunning views throughout the run.
Participants will be treated to an incredibly supportive atmosphere as they navigate this semi-marathon through some of France’s most beautiful countryside. Each year, the event attracts runners from near and far who are eager to support a worthy cause and enjoy a day filled with camaraderie and friendly competition.
This edition also includes a special charitable component: a portion of each entry fee will be donated to Des Étoiles dans la Mer (Stars in the Sea), an organization dedicated to funding medical research, supporting families affected by glioblastoma, and raising awareness about this aggressive form of brain cancer. The initiative has been particularly close to our hearts since one of its stars is Clarisse, who bravely battled the disease while attending past editions of La LOU.
All participants will receive a complimentary T-shirt as part of their race package. We encourage everyone to wear it proudly on race day and help spread awareness for this important cause.
Upon crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to live music, refreshments, and food trucks offering delicious treats in an energetic post-race celebration area.
