Semi-Marathon et 10 km de Saint Just

The Grand Fond Bressan, supported by the municipalities of Ceyzériat, Revonnas, Journans, Tossiat, Montagnat, and Saint-Just, is set to host its 14th edition of the "21 Kilometers du Grand Fond Bressan" on Sunday, September 20, 2026. This year's event will feature not only the traditional 21K race but also a 10km and a 5km run, all taking place along scenic roads in Saint-Just.
Participants can look forward to an invigorating experience as they traverse well-maintained asphalt routes through picturesque landscapes of southern France. The centerpiece of this event is the semi-marathon, which offers runners a challenging yet rewarding course that showcases the beauty and character of the region. In addition to the 21K race, the 10km distance has been awarded "Label Route Bronze" by the French Athletics Federation (FFA), making it an official qualifier for the national championships in this category.
The event begins at 8:30 AM with a warm welcome and packet pickup at the multi-purpose hall located on Place du Centre-Village. Runners will then head to their respective starting lines, with the semi-marathon kicking off at 10:20 AM from rue de l’école, followed by the start of the 10km race at 10:00 AM near the parking lot adjacent to the multi-purpose hall.
Both races are part of a broader challenge organized by Grand Bourg Agglomération and recognized within the department of Ain. This makes it an ideal opportunity for athletes aiming to accumulate points towards regional accolades while enjoying the camaraderie and support that define these community events.
