About the Event

Join the Scheldesportloop, an exciting race offering three distinct distances to suit every runner's preference: 5.5km, 8.5km, and 12km. For younger participants aged up to 12 years old, there’s a fun kids’ run of just 1km.
The event takes place on October 24, 2026, with the race starting at 3:00 PM sharp from AV Scheldesport's athletics track. Make sure you arrive early enough to get settled before the start time. Participants can enjoy a scenic route along the banks of the river Schelde, providing beautiful views and an invigorating atmosphere.
The entry fee for general participants is €7.50; however, members of AV Scheldesport run free of charge. Online registration opens until October 22, 2026, at midnight through inschrijven.nl. On-the-day sign-ups are also available if you prefer to register last minute.
The event welcomes Framerunners and ensures that all participants can enjoy the experience safely on marked routes. The exact course details will be made public closer to the race date via AV Scheldesport's website, so stay tuned for updates leading up to the big day.
For any inquiries or additional information, feel free to contact [email protected]. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to run alongside fellow enthusiasts and explore the charming surroundings of the river Schelde!
