The day kicks off at 9:30 AM with same-day registration for those who prefer last-minute planning. At 10:30 AM sharp, runners of every age and ability level can take part in various race options designed to suit everyone's spooky spirit: - A quick dash for young witches and wizards under five years old in the 100-Yard Dash. - The 1-Mile Fun Run caters to trick-or-treaters aged ten and younger, allowing them to showcase their costumes while enjoying a short run through the park. - For those looking to test themselves on a longer distance, the Timed 5K Run/Walk is open to all ages. This race offers an exhilarating challenge for runners of any level. All participants who finish in these events receive commemorative ribbons or medals. In the 5K event, top male and female overall winners take home trophies, while age group champions are awarded with medals as well. Race day registration starts at $15 if you're dressed to impress, but be prepared for a $20 charge on race day without your costume. Early bird registrants by October 9th can save five dollars and secure their event t-shirts. To avoid the rush of race morning, pre-registered participants are encouraged to pick up their packets at Village Hall from October 12th through 16th between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
