About the event
The Santa Barbara Running Association (SBRA) offers a great way to start the New Year!
Resolve to race into 2027 by joining us at Leadbetter Beach for a waterfront 5K & 10K run/walk on New Year’s Day.
Start Times:
5K (3.1 Miles), Junior Grand Prix Race, 9AM
10K (6.2 Miles), Adult Grand Prix Race, 9:45AM
Race Location: SB Waterfront Path. Start/Finish line area: Leadbetter Beach.
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup/late registration opens at 8:00 am at Leadbetter Beach.
SBRA Grand Prix:
The 10K run is the inaugural SBRA Grand Prix event for 2027 (5K for the Junior Grand Prix).
Compete against fellow runners throughout the year in Santa Barbara’s best races!
Become a member of the SBRA and sign up for the Grand Prix by going to: https://sbrunning.org/
Registration Pricing: All races are $50 (before Member discount). Runners are allowed to “double up” for 15K of racing for an additional $10. Discount applied at checkout.
SBRA members receive a $10 discount on registration.
SBRA Junior Grand Prix members race free!
Discount codes will be sent to all SBRA members.
SBRA events benefit the greater running community, school, youth and club running programs throughout Santa Barbara County.
