Join us for the 1st Annual Burem Missionary Baptist Church Bicycle Ride as we honor the memory of Russell Bradley. Every pedal pushes us closer to supporting a great cause, with all proceeds benefiting the Cinnamon Center Christian School.
Depending on how far you are wanting to ride, we will offer two different routes to choose from. Both options start and end right here at the church. Both rides will be $35. However, if you don't want to participate in the ride but would like to donate towards the Cinnamon Center, there is an option for that too!
We hope to see you there for a day of fitness, fellowship, and remembering a special member of our community!
28 Mile Ride: Leave Burem Church and head toward Rogersville. Cross the river and turn right on Old stage Road. Follow Old Stage Road to the end and turn left on Highway 346. Stay on 346 for a short distance (probably less than a mile) and turn left on Bear Hollow. Follow Bear Hollow until you turn right on West Bear Hollow. Stay on it all the way to the end at the Rogersville Water Plant. Cross Burem Road and go up McKinney Chapel. Follow it all the way until you get to Highway 66 at the Hugh B Day bridge. Turn Left on 66. Then turn left at on to Old 70 just after crossing the bridge. Stay on old 70 through the stop sign, past the turns to the TVA power plants and turn left on to Webster Valley just past Dodson Creek Church. Ride will go all the way through Webster, turn left at the Cinammon Center (Keplar) on to Burem Road and head back to the church over Gould’s Hill. The exact mileage of the route is about 27.8 miles.

Turn Left on 66 and head towards Cherokee High School. Turn right on Thorpes Chapel/Hecktown Road. Stay on this road to the end and then turn right on Melinda Ferry Road. Stay on Melinda Ferry and take a left (actually will basically just go straight as Melinda Ferry turns sharply to the right here). Stay on Lee Valley toward the Boy Scout camp. The road takes a sharp left turn and you begin the ascent up Ninny Ridge. Cross Ninny Ridge. Follow the road to the end and take a right on Grassy Valley Rd. You will not be on this road long until you will take another left on Thompson Rd. Follow this road to the end (probably a mile or two at most) and turn left on to HWY 113 (just above Shady Grove Baptist Church) and head back toward St Clair. Follow 113 all the way back, just before Highway 66. Turn right on the old road that shortly comes out on Highway 66. Go straight across 66 on to the Old State Hwy 113. Turn right at the end of it on to the old hwy 66. Go to the stop sign (about 1/4 mile) and turn left at the road that goes by Persia Baptist. Follow this road to the end at Highway 70 ( no more than a mile, probably less). Cross Highway 70 onto Old Persia Rd. Follow it to the end. Turn right on to Old 70 and you are back with the 28 mile course. Follow to Webster, left on Webster, left on Burem, cross Goulds Hill and back to the church.
