Running Events Devon - Train Short Plod 2026

Running Events Devon invites you to join us for an afternoon of fun at our Train Short Plod on Sunday, August 30th, 2026. The race starts promptly at 15:00 and offers a relaxed environment where runners can enjoy either walking or running a short yet scenic 2k course.
This event is suitable for all ages starting from around six years old; however, children under the age of eleven must be accompanied by an adult. All abilities are welcome—whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to get out and enjoy some fresh air, this race has something special in store for everyone. The course features gentle terrain that makes it accessible while still providing a rewarding experience.
Upon completing your lap around the track, participants will receive their well-deserved goodies as a token of appreciation for taking part. Entry spots are limited, so don't delay signing up to secure your spot. If we reach full capacity before you register, rest assured there's an alternative waiting: a bespoke medal from our selection.
For those traveling in from out-of-town, the Fox & Hounds Hotel offers comfortable accommodations including rooms and bunkhouse-style lodging along with camping facilities nearby.
