Runfinity 2.0

Runfinity, the hallmark marathon hosted by Atharv Ranbhoomi, IIM Indore's annual festival celebrating management, culture, literature, and sports, returns for its second edition. The race invites participants from across various sectors including the IIM Indore community, corporate employees, and runners from around the city to compete in 3KM, 5KM, and 10KM categories.
Last year’s inaugural event saw over five hundred enthusiastic runners participate, raising nearly two lakh rupees for a noble cause. The majority of participants—more than four out of five—were not affiliated with IIM Indore but were drawn to the initiative's mission to support underprivileged girls by providing them with essential sanitary pads.
This year’s Runfinity expands its impact through three distinct causes:
Sainik: A tribute to the families supporting India's defense forces, this category honors over 2.6 million ex-servicemen and more than 740,000 registered war widows who continue to bear the burden of service long after their loved ones have retired.
Shakti: Building on last year’s menstrual health initiative, Shakti aims to break national records for the distribution of organic sanitary pads. The goal is to set a new mark in either the India Book of Records or Limca Book of Records, ensuring that every registration translates into an eco-friendly pad being donated to those who need it most.
Swasthya: Focused on alleviating healthcare costs and poverty among patients unable to afford medical care, this initiative addresses the issue of out-of-pocket expenses driving millions of Indians below the poverty line each year. By participating in Swasthya, runners contribute directly towards providing essential health services for those in need.
Runfinity offers more than just a physical challenge; it is an opportunity for participants to fund causes with every step taken along scenic routes within and around IIM Indore’s vibrant campus.
