Run Watersound 5K and 10K

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, runners of all levels are invited to participate in the Sixth Annual RUN WATERSOUND. This community-focused race offers two distances: a scenic 5K and an engaging 10K course through Watersound Origins.
The event kicks off at 8:00 AM with the start of the 10K, followed closely by the 5K run beginning just ten minutes later at 8:10 AM. Both races commence and conclude at the picturesque WATERSOUND TOWN CENTER PAVILION located on Origins Main Street.
The race route takes participants north along Watersound Parkway through the tranquil streets of Watersound Origins, a community known for its serene beauty and well-maintained paths. The course primarily follows sidewalks and neighborhood pathways, with some sections including gravel surfaces to enhance safety while preserving the natural setting. Runners should be aware that not all roads will be closed during race day; therefore, caution around traffic is advised.
Packet pickup options are available on Friday, October 23 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Watersound Town Center (specific location details TBA) or Saturday morning before the event starts. The registration fees for participants are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K.
Post-race festivities include lively music, a gathering space for runners to socialize, and awards presentations at the Pavilion. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both race categories (5K and 10K).
