About the Event

RUN TOMO is a community-building relay in which local residents, companies and shops who have had little contact with dementia run together with people living with dementia, their families and medical and welfare workers, passing a sash from one runner to the next. Sharing the joy and sense of achievement helps people see those with dementia as valued neighbors, and the event creates face-to-face connections in each community.
