About the Event

The Run For The Diamonds is an annual Thanksgiving Day 9-mile road race which takes place in Berwick, Pennsylvania, United States.  The race started in 1908 and has only been cancelled two years, 1918 & 1919.

The first 1,200 runners will receive a t-shirt. Course record award is now $3,000. 

Race Day registration will be available in person only.  Cash or check only. $50

10:00AM - Mass Start


RACE ENTRY:

Sept 1 - Nov 2: $35 plus $3 processing fee
Nov 3 - Nov 22: $45 plus $3 processing fee
The race fee is refundable if the race is cancelled  The $3 processing fee is non-refundable.

PACKET PICK-UP:

Packet pickup will be 1PM -7PM on Wednesday, November 26 at the Elks.  Packet pickup will be 8AM until 9:40AM on race day at the Elks. Race Day registration will be available in person only.  Cash or check only. $50

 

T-shirt to the first 1,200 entrants.

Berwick is a small city in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Berwick is home to Berwick Offray, a gift ribbon manufacturing plant, and Wise Foods, Inc., a snack food company founded by Berwick native Earl Wise in the first half of the twentieth century, famous for its potato chips. Berwick is also famous for its high school football team, the Bulldogs which is six times State champions and three times national champions. Berwick is now the home of the 2008 PIAA AAA Baseball State Champions. It is the schools first baseball state championship in its history. Berwick was one of the places where the Stuart tank was produced. American Car & Foundry, a producer of rolling stock for railroads also operated a plant in Berwick.
