About the Event

An inflatable whale. A touch tank with live critters. A photo booth at the beach. This is not a typical 5K. Run for the Beach returns to Dane Street Beach in Beverly, Massachusetts, on Sunday, June 14, 2026 — rain or shine. The mission: protect Salem Sound and its watershed. All proceeds go to Salem Sound Coastwatch.

5K Run/Walk
Start: 9:00 AM • Dane Street Beach, Beverly, MA • Free street parking

Family‑Friendly Beach Morning:

Life‑size inflatable whale
Interactive touch tank (live marine animals)
Photo booth to capture the day
Water stations on course and at finish
Restrooms at the beach house
Vintage race t‑shirts and SSCW merch available for purchase

Registration:

Advance registration (by May 31): $40 — includes race t‑shirt
Same‑day registration (from 8:00 AM): $55
Children 10 & under: $10 when running/walking with a registered adult
Children in strollers: free with registered adult

Fundraising & Impact:

Goal: raise environmental awareness and funds for Salem Sound Coastwatch
Join a team or start your own fundraiser during registration
Top donor: Alexander Garthwaite — $107.35
Top team: Coastal Yuppie Collective — $27.48 raised
