About the Event

Supporting Literacy in Palm Beach County

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is an award-winning book gifting program for children ages 0-5. The Imagination Library mails each child enrolled a high-quality, age-appropriate book each month, at no cost to the family, from birth through their fifth birthday! The program works through The Dollywood Foundation, which provides key systems, and local community partners, who enroll families and pay the monthly cost of books. Your participation in the Run for Reading 5k will provide Imagination Library books for local children in Palm Beach County!

The 4th Annual Run for Reading 5k run/walk is a family-friendly event and the perfect opportunity to stay active and engaged while supporting early childhood literacy in Palm Beach County. The race will take place in Commons Park in Royal Palm Beach and will be timed by AccuChip.

There is also a virtual race! Pick up your swag bag, t-shirt and race medal locally, or select the shipping option.

Participants will receive a uniquely designed custom race medal, race t-shirt, chip start, and swag bag!

Packet pickup:

-Fit2Run at Wellington Mall.

-Packet pickup on race day starting at 7am.
