Run for Markham 2026

Join us on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, for the 4th Annual Run For Markham, organized by Mercy 4 Mankind, a subsidiary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA). This community-driven event takes place at Milliken Mills Park in Markham, Ontario, and is dedicated to raising funds for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
The day kicks off with registration starting at 8:30 AM. At 9:30 AM, participants gather for an opening ceremony that sets the tone for a morning filled with community spirit and charitable intent. The races begin at 10:30 AM, featuring both a challenging 5K run and a more accessible 3K option designed to encourage first-time runners.
The event also includes a family-friendly 1K Fun Walk starting shortly after the runs commence at 10:45 AM, inviting everyone from young children to grandparents to participate. This walk is an opportunity for all community members to come together in support of their local hospital and enjoy the scenic beauty of Milliken Mills Park.
After the races conclude around noon, participants can look forward to a closing session with awards presented at 12:00 PM. The festivities continue until 12:30 PM when refreshments are served as part of an informal social gathering where everyone can mingle and celebrate their collective effort in making a difference for Markham's community health.
