The course for the 10K/5K is set in Uptown Kansas City (Uptown KCMO), beginning at the heart of the neighborhood and extending eastward towards downtown. The terrain includes smooth, paved roads with occasional slight inclines as you approach the Finish Line. Notable features include the scenic path near the Shawnee Mission Park, where runners can catch a brief respite from the urban environment.
The 13.1 K race follows a similar route but extends further into the city, providing ample opportunity to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Start and finish are both at Uptown Park (Uptown KCMO), ensuring easy access for participants. There will be aid stations along the way where you can grab water or energy gels if needed.
