Set against the picturesque backdrop of Dartmoor, the 5-mile Graniteway race offers runners an exhilarating journey through stunning natural landscapes and historic landmarks. The out-and-back course ensures that participants can enjoy uninterrupted views of Meldon Reservoir and its iconic viaduct throughout their run.
This unique distance event is fully licensed by England Athletics and will be featured on your Power of 10 profile, making it a memorable addition to any runner's calendar. With no traffic interference along the tarmac route, runners are guaranteed an efficient race experience that highlights both the beauty and tranquility of Dartmoor.
Entry fees remain affordable while providing each finisher with a custom medal as a token of their achievement. Incentives for top performers include cash prizes for 1st-3rd place in male and female categories (£50, £30, £20 respectively) along with age group trophies (v40/v45/v50/v55/v60/v65/v70). Additionally, all participants will receive free entry to the next race.
The event hub is conveniently located just off the A30 near the Pump and Pedal facility. Here, runners can pick up their numbers starting at 8 AM on Sunday, September 20th, with the race beginning promptly at 9:30 AM. The venue offers ample car parking space as well as essential amenities like toilets and a café.
