Run & Bike des Barbots 2026

Le Run & Bike is an exciting team challenge that combines running and cycling, requiring participants to work seamlessly as pairs of one runner and one cyclist. Teams can consist of two men, two women, or be mixed gender, with all categories competing together for the overall mixte classification.
The event takes place on November 8, 2026, offering a unique blend of athleticism and camaraderie. Each team uses only one bicycle throughout the course, which must not have any electric assistance. The relay transitions between running and cycling are flexible but come with strict guidelines: participants can change places at their discretion, yet they cannot share rides on the bike simultaneously.
The cyclist is responsible for ensuring that the bike stays to the right of the path during exchanges and never obstructs other competitors or pedestrians. Both team members must cross designated checkpoints together, allowing a two-meter tolerance between them. This ensures clear communication and coordination throughout the race.
With its dynamic format, Le Run & Bike invites teams to strategize their pace changes and transitions while navigating scenic routes that highlight local landmarks and terrain features unique to the area. The event promises an exhilarating day of teamwork and endurance testing for all participants involved.
The atmosphere is lively as runners push themselves on foot before handing over to cyclists who then race ahead, creating a thrilling spectacle for spectators along the way. This engaging format not only tests physical limits but also emphasizes the importance of trust between teammates in achieving success together.
