Run Biathlon – Second Edition
On September 13, 2026, the vibrant village of Guinglange welcomes back its unique Run Biathlon for its second edition. Organized by the Foyer Rural de Guinglange and spearheaded by a team of enthusiastic young volunteers, this event combines precision, performance, and sheer enjoyment in an unparalleled way within the Moselle region.
The weekend kicks off on Saturday with two opportunities to pick up your race packet and test out laser pistols at the village hall from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It's important for participants who are unable to collect their packets during these times to contact one of the organizers, Régis Beaucourt (06 30 75 51 42) or Thierry Burtard (06 64 33 48 01).
Come Sunday morning, excitement builds as competitors gather for a day filled with challenging runs and accurate shooting. The event opens at 9:00 AM with opportunities to test your skills on the laser pistol range before it closes promptly at 9:50 AM. At exactly 10:00 AM, runners take off in the individual race, covering seven laps of 1.43 kilometers each and making six trips through a shooting station.
For those who prefer team competition, there's also a relay event starting at 11:30 AM. This involves eight laps of 1.34 kilometers per duo with seven mandatory visits to the laser pistol range. Both events are designed for participants aged 18 and over, offering an exhilarating blend of running and shooting.
