Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the picturesque Breedekloof region during the 2026 Run The Vines Series, set to take place at Jason’s Hill Private Cellar on November 21, 2026. Nestled in a tranquil corner of South Africa, this family-owned vineyard offers runners and their families an immersive experience amidst rolling hills and lush vineyards.
Jason's Hill is more than just a winery; it carries the legacy of Jason, an old shepherd whose name graces these lands. Since 2002, the cellar has been producing award-winning wines that have earned accolades such as the Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year in 2003 and the first-ever Woman Winemaker of the Year Award in 2004.
The event features a variety of distances to cater to all levels: a fun-filled 3km Junior Challenge for children under eight, designed to introduce them to trail running; a scenic 5km run through vineyards and farmland; a challenging 10km that takes runners deeper into the countryside; and an exhilarating 17km route that traverses rugged terrain. Each distance offers unique views of the Slanghoek Mountains, providing breathtaking scenery at every turn.
Registration for the event includes timing tags with live results updates, ensuring participants can track their progress throughout the race.
