Rogaining Kita-Karuizawa (Autumn 2026) (＜2026秋＞ロゲイニング・北軽井沢)

A rogaining event across the highland area from Kita-Karuizawa to Tsumagoi on the foothills of Mt. Asama, starting in front of the former Kusakaru Electric Railway's Kita-Karuizawa station. The terrain mixes pastures, remnants of a post town, mountain passes and Asama Hokuroku Geopark scenery, and teams choose their own route and strategy to collect checkpoints.
Run and walk, cycling and drive divisions run at the same time, with awards for each category winner and an overall winner. Entry is 3,000 yen and includes a highland soft-serve ice cream. Participation is open from elementary school age, with a guardian required for younger children. Tandem entries by people with disabilities are welcomed, and the pilot's fee is free.
