This year’s edition features two running options: a scenic 5K and an exciting new addition, a challenging 10K route that winds through the picturesque Charleswood area, starting and finishing at Roblin Park Community Centre (RPCC). For those looking for something more relaxed, there's also a family-friendly 1K Fun Run held entirely within the safe confines of Roblin Park. The event welcomes runners and walkers alike from all age groups in an environment designed to be enjoyable and accessible. All participants in the timed races will have their performance recorded as they navigate through Charleswood’s charming streets and parks, while families can enjoy a variety of activities at Roblin Park Community Centre after completing the fun run. A bustling beer garden, bouncy castles for kids, games, and plenty more attractions create an engaging day out. The proceeds from this event go directly to supporting Roblin Park's essential programs and facilities, making your participation in the races not just a personal achievement but also a valuable contribution towards community development. Early bird registration offers competitive rates until August 31st: $10 for the 1K Fun Run (all ages), $27 or $37 for the Youth and Adult 5K categories respectively, and $32 or $42 for the Youth and Adult 10K races. Registration fees increase to $15-$52 from September 1st-15th and reach full price at $20-$52 after that. On-site race kit pickup is available on Friday, September 25th (6:30pm - 7:30pm) or Saturday, September 26th (8:30am - 9:30am), both days at Roblin Park Community Centre. The races themselves kick off early in the morning with the 10K and 5K runs starting at 10:00AM followed by the 1K Fun Run at 11:15 AM. This event is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners' Association (MRA), offering MRA members a $5 discount on their race entry fees. Additionally, both the Youth and Adult categories of the 1K and 5K runs are part of the MRA Youth Series, while all distances contribute to the MRA Celebration Series.
