The Riverlands 100 is a landmark endurance event scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Androscoggin Riverlands State Park in Turner, Maine. Historically significant as Maine’s first 100-mile trail race, the 2026 edition is announced as "The Last One," marking the final chapter of the race after a nine-year legacy. The event features a solo 100-mile race and a limited 10-team invitation-only relay, all concluding with a final celebratory "Riverlands Family" party.

The geography of the course consists of four laps of a 25-mile out-and-back trail along the Androscoggin River. The terrain is a rigorous mix of ATV trails—comprising roughly 50% of the course—and technical Maine single-track. Runners will encounter a "little of everything," including dense forests, constant elevation changes, rocks, roots, and the state’s notorious mud. In early May, the Maine landscape is in a transitional spring phase; average temperatures typically hover around 14°C (57°F), but conditions can vary wildly from frost to humidity. The course is deceptive, as the lack of flat stretches means runners have very few opportunities to relax their focus or their stride.
Logistically, the race hub and packet pickup are located at the Martin Stream Campground, which also hosts the pre-race pasta dinner and post-race brunch. Aid stations are positioned at both ends of the out-and-back and at a midway point, all of which support drop bags. For those in the solo division, registration closes on April 17, 2026, though a waitlist is often utilized due to the race's popularity. Top performance records include Mark Hammond's 2019 finish of 17:37:28 and Beau Langevin's 17:58:00 in 2017. As the race directors prepare to retire this specific event, they have hinted at a new, "challenging" project in the Maine wilderness for future seasons.
