About the Event

The River Rat Races 5K and 1K will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 8:30 AM CDT (5K) and 9:15 AM CDT (1K Fun Run), starting at Belle Prairie County Park on Haven Road in Little Falls, MN, United States. The 5 km course is flat, fast, paved, and chip‑timed, running along the Mississippi River. The 1 km (0.62 mile) Fun Run is a free, untimed loop on asphalt within the park. The park features large red pines, a picnic area, disc golf course, playground, and outdoor bathrooms (no showers).

Online registration closes on June 3 at 10:00 PM. Register before May 20 to guarantee a t‑shirt.

Awards ceremony begins as soon as available after the 5 km finish (approximately 9:30 AM).
