5k Course Description: The 5k is a straight out and back on the Clyde Fant Parkway.

Date & Starting Times: NEW DATE THIS YEAR Saturday morning October 10th, 2026

5K, 15K and 5k wheelchair will all start at 7:30 a.m.

Entry Fee:

Through August 1st - $25.00

August 2nd- September 11th - $30.00

September 12th - September 25th - $35.00

Race Day $40.00

If you do not want a t-shirt, select "I do not need another race shirt" and you can save $5.00 off your entry fee

Race Packet: Race Packets will be available Thursday, October 8th from 10am—6pm,

Friday, October 9th from 10am—5:30pm, at Sportspectrum.

Race morning at the race site starting at 6:00 a.m. until 10 minutes prior to race start.

Every pre-registered participant will receive an Official 2026 T-shirt. All packets not picked up by the start of the race will be given to our wonderful volunteers. No packets mailed or held.

You must register by September 30th to guarantee a t-shirt.

Awards: Overall male and female winners for the 5k & 15K race will receive $100 gift certificates to Sportspectrum. 2nd Overall male and female winners for both the 5k & 10k will receive $50 gift certificates to Sportspectrum. 1st & 2nd place age group winners will receive an award.

Overall male and female winners in the kids 5k will receive $25 gift cards to Sportspectrum.

Age Divisions: Male & Female: 15K – 19-under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80+

5k Adults - Age groups: 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5k Kids - Overall male & female, will take home a award. 1st & 2nd place age group will also receive an award.

5k Kids - Age groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-18

5k Wheelchair - 1st & 2nd Overall Male and Female

Special Note: No dogs allowed on the run course.

15k Course will close at 10:00 a.m. All runners will be pulled from course at this point.

Shreveport is the largest city in Northern Louisiana, part of the twin city metro of Shreveport-Bossier City, and is considered the principal city in the three-state region known as the "Ark-La-Tex."
