REV RUNNR Ekiden Bangkok 2026 is set to take place on November 8, 2026, at the Thai Sport Authority Stadium Huamak in Bangkok. This team relay race features two categories: Open and Elite.
The event unfolds over five legs with each leg covering approximately 1,200 meters (3 laps around the stadium track). Teams consist of six members including one reserve runner, with a minimum requirement for at least one female participant per team. The total distance is about 6 kilometers (6,000 meters).
Participants gather from early morning until late afternoon to compete in this spirited event that emphasizes teamwork and camaraderie over individual achievement. Spectators can expect an energetic atmosphere as runners dash through the well-managed stadium grounds.
Registration takes place on race day only at the Thai Sport Authority Stadium Huamak, located near Hua Mak station. The Open category costs 2,400 THB per team while the Elite category is priced at 3,000 THB per team. Runner attire must be uniform across each team to help officials identify competitors clearly.
The race adheres strictly to rules prohibiting the use of track spikes and performance-enhancing substances, ensuring fair play throughout the competition. Teams are required to submit their runner lineup before the event begins, with no changes allowed afterward.
This Ekiden is a celebration of sportsmanship and unity in Bangkok's vibrant sporting community.
