Resolution Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Stroll

This will be the 12th Resolution Run 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun walk to benefit the Middlebury  Food Pantry . What a great way to start the New Year with some POSITIVE energy towards a very good cause!  

Early race entry fee is $18 for individuals and $40 for families.  Long sleeve shirts are optional and an additional $16.  Vintage shirts are available onsite at packet pickup/onsite registration for reduced prices.  We accept cash, checks or credit cards onsite.

Courses: The courses start and finish at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, 240 US 20, Middlebury, IN. Both courses utilize the Pumpkinvine Trail and Ridge Trails.

Onsite Registration and Packet Pickup is on Thursday, January 1, 2026 Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, where we will gather pre and post race.

The 5K run/walk race starts at 10:00 am. The Mile Walk will follow just after the 5K takes off. You can stay up and ring in the New Year, and still get a good nights sleep before coming out join your friends for a scenic morning on the trail!

Entry Fee: Your 5K entry fee includes a timed entry, finisher treats and various age group awards. The entry for the Mile includes an untimed entry and finisher treats. Shirts are OPTIONAL and an additional $16, 

Parking: Ample Parking right there at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, 240 US 20, Middlebury, IN.

Starting line.The starting line is right out on Wayne Street. We will walk everyone out together and wait for the police to close the road before we start.

Finish line: You will finish on a path BEHIND the Essen Haus, protected from traffic and proceed around the Inn (not through the Inn) back to our room for warm cocoa and trees.

Awards: Top 3 Overall MF and 3 deep AG awards in 15 age groups. The Mile is not timed, so there are no placement awards.

Results: THTIming.com will be the timer onsite. Results will be pushed to the website. You can opt in to receive texts with your finisher times

Post race refreshments: After the race come in for some refreshments and the awards. Please enter and exit through the Conference side (Wayne Street side) not the hotel/Inn entrance as it becomes quite drafty for the hotel patrons. We appreciate your consideration.
