Reindeer Run 5K

On December 5, 2026, the SUNY Adirondack campus will host an invigorating race that promises both scenic beauty and community spirit. The event takes place on Bay Road in Queensbury, New York, offering runners a chance to explore this picturesque area while supporting a worthy cause.
Participants can register online through zippyreg.com or adirondackrunners.org until December 3, 2026, with registration closing once the limit of 250 participants is reached. To ensure race shirt availability in your preferred size, it's recommended to sign up by November 17th.
Race day activities kick off at 8:00 AM when packet pickup and on-site registration begin at the College Student Center. The event itself commences promptly at 9:30 AM with a competitive start that includes an exciting Reindeer Race for all ages. Early bird pricing is available, offering $27 entry fees (reduced to $24 for members of Adirondack Runners) and youth rates under age 15 at just $15.
Race day sign-ups are also possible but come with a slightly higher cost: adults pay $32 while those under 15 years old will be charged $20. All funds raised from the race go towards supporting the Wait House, ensuring that contributions can be made both through participation and direct donations via the event's official website.
Awards are presented to top finishers in various categories including overall male and female winners as well as age group awards for 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and over 80.
