Make room for turkey and pie! Join us at this family-friendly event - the perfect way to kick off your Thanksgiving holiday!

8 a.m. Thanksgiving Morning @ Panther Creek State Park

Red Tree Ministries (501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization) is teaming up with Panther Creek State Park to present our annual Gobble Wobble 5k Race and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk. This charity event will help our local community resource provide food, shelter, and support to neighbors in need.

Registered participants will receive a Gobble Wobble t-shirt and be entered in our raffle to win a Full Turkey Dinner from Cracker Barrel!

*Trails for the race are unpaved, contain slight elevation changes, and may be uneven in places.

About Morristown

Learn more about the host city, Morristown.

Morristown is in Eastern Tennessee. Settled in the years just after the Revolutionary War, around 1787, Davy Crockett once lived here. Prior to the Civil Rights era, Morristown had one of the only two colleges in eastern Tennessee established for African Americans, called Morristown College. One newer development is the unique urban renewal design that was implemented for the town in the 1960s, with elevated sidewalks connecting city blocks downtown. The idea didn't really take off in terms of ushering in commerce, but it does have a peculiar look nonetheless.
