About the Event

On November 21, 2026, the quaint town of Marche welcomes runners and walkers for its seventh annual evening race series. The event offers three distinct courses: a 9 km walk with an elevation gain of 80 meters, a 13.5 km trail run (not timed) starting at 18:00, and an 18 km trek featuring a challenging climb of 270 meters.
Participants have the flexibility to choose their preferred start time between 5 PM and 7 PM for all walking routes, with the latest entry point being 6 PM for those tackling the full 18 km distance. The race courses wind through scenic natural landscapes, offering runners breathtaking views under the moonlight.
Each course is well-supported with hydration stations along the way to keep participants energized throughout their journey. Upon completion of your chosen route, enjoy a hearty meal at the finish line if you've pre-ordered one—options include soup, hot main dishes, cheese plates, desserts, and warm mulled wine. The registration fees vary based on whether meals are included: €12 for children (up to 12 years old) with a meal or €6 without; adults pay €16 with a meal or €8 without.
Early bird specials have already seen over eighty pre-ordered meals snapped up, so it’s best not to delay securing your spot. Online registration opens on October 5th at 8 PM and no walk-up registrations will be accepted on race day. Meet all participants at the communal center located off Sermérieu Road in Salagnon for a memorable evening of camaraderie and natural beauty.
Participants are encouraged to bring reusable cups for hydration stations throughout the event.
