About the Event

Register today for the inaugural Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside Run 5K & Fun Walk, happening Sunday, April 26, 2026! Proceeds from the event will benefit Diamond Children’s Medical Center, supporting their vital mission to provide critical pediatric care to children across Southern Arizona when they need it most.

The scenic race route winds through the picturesque community of Rancho Sahuarita. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. at Sahuarita Lake Park, with the race kicking off at 7:30 a.m. The 1K Fun Walk will take place around the perimeter of Sahuarita Lake.

The registration fee for the 5K is $20, which includes a complimentary t-shirt. The registration fee for the 1K Fun Walk is $10, and also includes a complimentary t-shirt. Children 10 year of age and younger can also register to participate for $5, and can sign up to receive a super hero cape.

Families are invited to enjoy entertainment in our Family Play Area before and during the race, and all participants can relax and celebrate in the post-race area following the event.
