Rally for a Cure

Join the vibrant community of Kennedale for the Rally for Bond, an inspiring fundraising event set to take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This special occasion is dedicated to supporting Kaley Bond, a beloved teacher at Kennedale High School who is currently battling breast cancer.
The event features two options: a fun and inclusive 1 Mile Run/Walk starting at 8:30 AM and a more challenging 5K Run/Walk beginning promptly at 9:00 AM. Both events are designed for all ages and skill levels, making it easy for everyone to participate in this meaningful cause.
Race day activities begin early with packet pickup and check-in opening at 7:00 AM, allowing ample time for participants to prepare before the races commence. All registered runners will receive a custom Rally for Bond finisher medal upon completion of either race distance, along with a race bib.
Registration fees are tiered, offering discounts for those who sign up early:
- $20 through October 1, 2026
- $25 from October 2 to October 23, 2026
- $30 on the day of the event
Participants can also choose a "Donate Only — Support Mrs. Bond" option if they are unable to attend but wish to contribute financially.
The Rally for Bond is more than just a race; it's an opportunity for students, staff, families, alumni, local businesses, and community members to come together in solidarity.
